Felis, befriend us!

Two weeks ago, my husband & I made an important change in our lives- we adopted a new cat. As you may remember, our kitty of 16+ years, Miranda, died on 12/31/07. We took some time to mourn her loss, but earlier this spring decided that we were ready to have a new fur-child in our lives.

Musette is a medium-haired Siamese mix, about 8.5 lbs, & will be 5 in June. She is spayed (of course) & front-declawed, & one of her pretty blue eyes is just slightly crossed. She's a lovely girl with a sociable disposition, loves attention, & loves to play. She is talkative, & often runs about "chirping" & cooing like a big fluffy dove. We love her quite a lot already & she keeps us laughing.

If you'd like to see more pictures of her, or read a little more about her & how we met, she has her own website, http://introducingmusette.shutterfly.com/ . We hope to have her around for many, many happy years.

I'm so sorry to hear about you loss. I had a cat for 14 years that passed away in 2001, and it was very hard for my. I grew up with him.
This past November, I adopted a siamese mix from a shelter. It's the first time I've had a cat of my own since my cat Cricket passed on.
Musette is a real beauty! Those are some great photos of her up at Shutterfly!
